Erin's Speech
Here in Oakville, we are very fortunate to have courts, fields, arenas, gyms, tracks, waterways and pools. We thank the Town of Oakville for continuously improving sport facilities, hosting sporting events and initiating community spirit.
On behalf of all the award recipients as well as all Oakville athletes and clubs, I would like to thank the Town of Oakville for providing the facilities; our coaches, parents and peers for developing our skills; Sport Oakville for recognizing our achievements; and to all the other committees and individuals that have contributed to todays’ special event.
Sport Oakville is another example of the dedication and support that our community provides for us.
Today’s celebration has inspired us to keep giving back to the sport, and to keep involved in our community.
